BIOLOGICAL SAMPLE · FROM COLLECTION TO RESULT

Every sample.
One identity.
A complete journey.

BioSampleTrace creates a controlled digital chain between the hospital and the external laboratory — without moving patient identifiers into the external environment.

THE TRACEABILITY GAP

The sample moves physically. Its information must follow.

When transfers rely on paper, phone calls and disconnected systems, the actual state of a sample cannot be verified immediately.

01

A shared picture

Immediate visibility into the state, location and history of every sample.

02

Controlled handovers

Dispatch manifests, an aggregate QR and receipt confirmation per sample.

03

Timely intervention

Two SLA clocks and notifications for delays or rejection.

04

Complete audit

Actions, reasons, corrections and result versions are recorded.

DIGITAL SAMPLE IDENTITY

The physical journey becomes a digital chain of responsibility.

Every physical sample is an independent examination with its own code, label, laboratory, status and PDF result.

  • Server-generated unique code
  • Barcode and QR for reliable identification
  • Independent laboratory assignment
  • Repeat collection as a new linked examination

DISPATCH MANIFEST & PWA

One scan opens the complete receipt.

The aggregate QR contains only a secure identifier. After sign-in, the installable web app retrieves the manifest and lets the user confirm the total or record an exception for an individual sample.

  • One or multiple clinics in a manifest
  • Up to 200 samples per dispatch
  • Camera scanning from a mobile device
  • Expected receipts visible in advance

PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE

Patient identity stays inside the hospital.

The external workflow uses the sample's pseudonymous operational identity — never a patient name, national health number or another direct identifier.

ROLE-BASED ACCESS

The right information for the right user.

Permissions are scoped by organisation, clinic, physician, laboratory and operational responsibility, with a complete action history.
